So, what should you do if the Mob is ever after you? How can you go incognito? Ahearn says his best tip is to do your research. "Plan carefully and visit the place you want to disappear to before the big move. The internet is a great place for information, like you buy a condominium in South America for $US60,000 but the problem is it's in the middle of nowhere with no hospital, decent food markets and such.
"Do not leave a mess behind, like mountains of debt because you may want to return in a year or two. Then you will have to face the music and it will be worse. Never buy or rent property online, sight unseen. And, most of all do not break the law!"
