Lovers of good food and wine will find Terroir an absolute delight. This was the first stop on our wine trail and our quick one-hour lunch turned into three of the most enjoyable hours I've spent matching food to wine. Every dish was superb and the Hungerford wines complemented each course to perfection. My choice - crepinette of duck with roast beetroot, asparagus, blood orange and walnuts, $25, followed by porcini crusted venison, chestnuts, roasted carrot, fennel trompette and star anise, $43, finished with an immaculate mulberry souffle, $17. Perfectly full, the vineyard views made a tasty aperitif.
